PillBot ("we", "our", "the Service") is a Telegram bot that helps you manage medication and supplement reminders. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we process and protect it, and what rights you have regarding your personal information.

1. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the Service. When you interact with PillBot through Telegram, we store the following:

Account Data

Telegram user ID — required to identify you and send reminders
Telegram username — if available in your Telegram profile, used for support purposes
First name — as provided by Telegram, used for personalized communication within the bot
Language preference — to provide the Service in your preferred language (Russian or English)
Timezone — so reminders are sent at the correct local time

Medication Data

Names of medications and supplements you add
Dosage information
Reminder schedules (times, frequency, start/end dates)
Intake confirmations (taken/skipped status and timestamps)

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to PillBot Premium via Telegram Stars:

Telegram payment charge ID (provided by Telegram's payment system)
Subscription status and period

We do not have access to your payment method details. All payment processing is handled entirely by Telegram.

Service Logs

To ensure quality and diagnose technical issues, we maintain service logs that may include:

Messages you send to the bot (used for processing your requests)
Bot responses
Technical event records (errors, reminder delivery status)

Service logs are automatically deleted after 20 days.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not require or store your email address
We do not access your Telegram contacts, groups, or other messages
We do not collect your phone number
We do not collect your location (timezone is set manually by you)
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies within the bot itself

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the Service:

Delivering reminders — sending medication reminders at the times you set
Processing your requests — understanding and executing your commands (adding medications, changing schedules, etc.)
AI-powered conversation — your messages are processed by an AI system to understand natural language requests (see Section 4)
Quality assurance — service logs help us identify and fix technical issues
Service improvement — aggregated, non-personal usage patterns help us improve the bot

4. AI Processing

PillBot uses AI technology (powered by AiVeros) to understand your natural language messages and convert them into medication schedules. When you send a message to the bot:

Your message text is sent to the AI system for processing
The AI system receives your language preference and first name to personalize responses
Conversation context is maintained for up to 6 hours to enable natural dialogue, after which it is reset

The AI system is used solely for processing your requests within PillBot. Your data is not used to train AI models.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or any other commercial purposes.

Your data may be processed by the following services solely to provide the Service:

Telegram — as the messaging platform through which the bot operates, subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy
AiVeros — AI processing platform for understanding your messages

We may disclose your data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in the Netherlands (EU)
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls
Service logs are automatically deleted after 20 days
Account and medication data is stored for as long as you use the Service

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data — request information about what data we store about you
Delete your data — request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
Data portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the Support page or the /support command in the bot. We will process your request within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

PillBot is not intended for use by children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Website Analytics

This website (not the bot) uses Google Analytics with cookie consent to understand traffic patterns. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time. The bot itself does not use any third-party analytics or tracking.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
